Biography

Dr. Steven A. Rosenberg obtained his MD from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and a PhD in Biophysics from Harvard University, combining rigorous scientific training with clinical excellence. He completed his residency in surgery at Peter Bent Brigham Hospital and pursued a fellowship in immunology at the National Cancer Institute (NCI), where he began his pioneering work in tumor immunology. Over the decades, Dr. Rosenberg’s research has fundamentally reshaped cancer treatment, particularly through his development of adoptive T-cell therapies and contributions to the field of immune-based oncology. Today, he continues his mission at NeoVita Oncology, where he drives innovation in immunotherapy and trains the next generation of physician-scientists dedicated to conquering cancer.

Dr. Rosenberg is internationally recognized as a trailblazer in cancer immunotherapy. He was the first to demonstrate the effectiveness of T-cell transfer therapy, revolutionizing the treatment of advanced cancers.
